Grandma In Hospital

About 7:30 this morning while Grandma was preparing food for the day the pain started again in her hip. It was the same pain that she had experienced in early January. It started slowly but increased steadily. She took some of the pain medicine that the doctor had given her after her last hospital visit but it had no effect. The pain continued to increase so we went to the ER at Huguley Hospital. They administered a shot of pain medication in her leg and it began to bring some relief just after noon. The xray indicated that the hip was not dislocated or any other visible problem.

The ER doctor admitted her to the hospital and left orders for examination by an orthopedic surgeon tomorrow. Pray that further examination will reveal something that will solve this recurring problem.
