Train Show

Saturday Andy played ball in Glen Rose. Here he is in center field.


Later we drove to Mineral Wells for the annual train show held at Clark Gardens. We went to the show here last year but the weather turned cold with light rain and we were miserable. This year the wind was calm, the sun was shinning and it was uncomfortably hot at times.

This exhibit was under a huge tent.

The garden railroad exhibit was in another area of the park. This is one of the live steam models. How would you like to have this in your back yard?

Clark Gardens is not so much a bloom garden but has a lot of trees, fountains and scenic walkways.

On our drive home we stopped to see the world's largest rocking chair.
