I Thought It Was Over
When we went to bed last night the weather reporter said the snow clouds were moving out of our area. Areas from DFW north had gotten up to 9 inches during the day on Thursday. We only got about an inch of rain which was quite welcome.
Friday morning we were greeted with about an inch of snow on the cars. The ground was still warm and the overnight low temperature was about 32 or 33 degrees so any snow that fell on the roads or bare ground melted.
The north wind continued to blow as the sun shone brightly and by noon there was hardly a trace of snow left!
