Monday
This morning Ann Carol went to work and the girls were off to school. Glenn had the day off so after his chiropractor visit he came by our motel and we drove to IKEA not far from the Oakland Bay bridge. Glenn bought a chair.
Before going to IKEA we stopped for a quick virtual cache and benchmark.
We should have gone to IKEA a little earlier. They serve a bacon and egg breakfast for 99 cents!
Ann Carol had lunch at the office before getting off for the day so we picked up a pizza at Little Ceasar's.
After nap time we rode with AC to pick up Jordann after school at Northcreek. On the way back we stopped for a couple more caches and benchmarks.
One of the caches was in the park by the duck pond.
We had taken crackers and were warmly welcomed.
... by pigeons and other birds as well as ducks and geese!
A cache in the butterfly garden posed some photography difficulty. The butterflies were tiny.
Ann Carol cooked chicken and potatoes for supper.
Glenn watched the ballgame in his new chair.
This ends our last full day in California.

I sat in one of those chairs when we went to IKEA. It was very comfortable. I wanted to get me one too.
