Sunday
We had breakfast at McDonalds and went to the 9:30 service at Northcreek Church. This was the second of three services on Sunday morning.
We went back to the motel before driving to Arbolado Park. Here we met the Tatums and some of their friends for a picnic lunch. Jerry and I arrived early and enjoyed watching the locals coming for a day in the park. One large group of children brought their bicycles for a safety inspection before beginning their ride.
Ann Carol had fixed sandwiches for the picnic.
After lunch some played Frisbee, football or just enjoyed being in the park.
Yes, that IS sand on the slide!!
Back at the house we found the cat relaxing on the back fence.
Supper was at the Tatum house. Afterwards we watched Mr. Deeds Goes To Town with Gary Cooper and Jean Arthur.
