Memory Lane

The world lost a great singer yesterday. No one remembers his name however and he (Hank Medress and the Tokens) had only one great hit. I found the song on a YouTube video. Now I can't get the tune out of my head.

Tonight during choir practice when two of our ladies were working on a difficult part together the younger woman's cell phone rang and she left the room for a few minutes. When she returned the older woman said, "You picked a fine time to leave me Lucille!" Judging by the blank look on the younger person's face she had never heard this song that all the rest of us were so familiar with. Now I have another tune running around in my head.
