It's Tuesday Again!
Today we stopped for a moment to look at the old building in Tehaucana where Trinity University began. From here Trinity moved to Waxahachie and then later moved to its present location in Austin. BTW- Tehaucana is located on one of the highest hills between Dallas and Houston although it didn't look very high.

South of Mexia we stopped by Old Fort Parker and walked back behind the fort to see if Parker Spring was still running. And it was!

Next we drove into Fort Parker State Park to see where the Pipes Family went camping circa 1954. I didn't get any pictures in the park but the ranger recommended we go by the Confederate Reunion Grounds. There we saw a restored canon.
