Monday

...............

The sun was setting as we drove back to our motel last night.

This morning Jerry was enjoying the roses in the median near McDonalds.

Lunch today was at El Faro (Mexican Fast Food).

Sue Ellen wanted to see a few pictures of the cat. Here they are!

Late in the day we went for a walk in the park and planted a cache at the top of a hill at the Concord Vietnam Memorial.

Here is the view from the hill.

Along the trail to the hill we passed a dog park.

There were large dogs.

Small dogs...

including a pug!

Sunday

After another breakfast at McDonalds we went to the early service at North Creek Church. Glenn led the music and Ann Carol sang with a women's ensemble. After the first service we moved to the rear of the auditorium for the second service. After the music portion of the service with the women singing we left and returned to the Tatum home. Glenn picked up Chinese take-out for Mother's day lunch.

After a nap we visited a shopping area nearby. Sue Ellen you would have liked it!

After another nap at the condo while Glenn rode his bike we all went downtown Walnut Creek. The parking was underneath the store. Customers could send their shopping carts down a special escalator beside the pedestrian device. It doesn't take much to amuse a country boy!

Here is Mt. Diablo seen from downtown Walnut Creek.

Glenn and Ann Carol assembled their purchase on the patio while Lauren cooked

my omelet.

Jordann painted a Mother's Day card for Ann Carol.
