Ouch!

Grandpa tripped and fell last Friday with a shovel in his hand. Somehow that shovel ended up hitting him in the head and cutting a gash from the eyebrow to hairline. The eye has been slowly turning black until it looks like this today (Tuesday).


The eye doesn't really bother me too much but my jaw is very sore. I couldn't open my mouth wide enough to eat a cherry tomato last night and today I had to cut a banana into small pieces!

The tape covers the gash very well but I probably should wear shades when I go out in public.

Too Busy!

Seems like I haven't found time to blog any for several days. I was working on planning a family outing but ran into conflicts. Lynne said they had Oct. 13 free from school but that is the same week-end as a special homecoming celebration for our group. It will be fifty years for the class just before ours. They are planning a big celebration for their class and the classes before and after them. I had been planning on attending. It will likely be our last chance to ever see many of our old high school friends.
