Tough Tomatoes

Friday morning we woke to see ice on top of the car!  I waited for a couple of hours before checking on the tomatoes but they both were doing fine.  The plant in a pot only 15 feet from the car is under a tree which protected if from the night sky.  The other plant is in a cage in the yard.

Now on to Saturday to battle the high wind again!

The cold temperatures last night did damage to the cannas that were just beginning to grow.  I think after a few warm days they will completely recover.
