Fall is in the air

The nights grow longer each week. I started plowing today in preparation for planting fall wheat. Hope we can get some seed in the ground before we fly away to CA next week. Nick should start our last hay cutting of the year today.

Bougainvillea

My bougainvillea is blooming again now that I remember to water it. It almost died during the hot dry weather.

The abundant rain and the shorter fall days with longer nights have prompted the bulbs to spring forth. These are blooming at Grandmama's place.
