Gentle Rain

Our rain overnight totaled less than one inch. When I went out this morning I found this snail crawling in the grass.

I bet his pictures were not fuzzy! This convention photographer was constantly snapping pictures during the meetings.

Grandma and I attended the afternoon session of the BGCT meeting in Ft. Worth. For supper we drove to Luby's where I found some excellent broccoli. We both have colds so did not go back for the half day session on Tuesday. Stephen Hatfield was a candidate for President but was defeated by David Lowrie whose father had been president in 1981-1983.

It rained heavily during the evening session and I saw people wadding water in the streets as they walked back to their hotels in downtown Ft. Worth. We had planned ahead by taking our umbrellas.

Mystery Solved

For several days we have been debating how the gravel pile got torn down. The day it happened David had only been outside for a few minutes and he is not supposed to go that far from the house so we knew that he wasn't responsible. We finally decided that someone had stopped in our driveway to look at the equipment that I have for sale and their kids climbed on the pile.

This afternoon Grandma and David were playing in the front yard. When I came out she said, "I don't see David." I could see him walking up the driveway so I got on the golf cart to follow. By the time I got up the hill this scene greeted me!






Now I get to pile the gravel again!
