Day of Sadness

Remember the little pepper plant that sprouted almost a month ago?  It has done well and I transplanted it into its own pot and sat it in the south window where it seemed very happy.  In fact is was beginning to show its first true leaves.  Yesterday when I went to check on it, it was gone completely!!  Not even a trace of leaf fragment was left.  I don't know what might have happened to it.  There are some more sprouts still in the mini greenhouse so all was not a total loss.

Signs of Spring

My purple jew that I had planted in a pot is beginning to grow. I was afraid it might have frozen but it seems to be safe.

Paper Mache Girl

Late Saturday afternoon as we drove by the old house at the north place I noticed a car parked on the side of the road so I stopped to see if someone had trouble. This is what emerged from the car!  I wonder if my granddaughters have ever tried anything like this?

There was a boy with her.  They wanted to take some pictures by the old house!
Noses

Yes, a big nose is a Pipes family trait!
