Guess What I Found Today?

I was lucky enough to see it before it saw me. That gave me time to go get a couple of tools to use in subduing it.






He became quite active when he sensed the danger and began rattling loudly and rearing his head as if in preparation to strike. Not very large in comparison to others that I have killed around here but I am sure he could inflict significant damage.

Another Week

This week has flown by. The weather has been nice and we have been farming. Planted a field to surghum-sudan for grazing, plowed a field of grazed out wheat and did some mowing in the pasture. Tomorrow we plan to visit the Kubota dealership in Cleburne as they are having a free Bar-B-Q dinner.

There is rain in the forecast and the bluebonnets are beginning to bloom. I will try to get some pictures soon.
